I have this longing to go to a beach and watch the sunset. Taking in the beautiful view while soaking my feet in the seawater with the breeze caressing my hair gently.

And I would love to have a company, and be the talker instead of a listener this time around.

I've been listening to people for so long - its my turn now.

Hear my thoughts, my woes, my dreams.

For once, I want to know how it feels to let it all out to a pair of ears listening intently and not butting in while I let my thoughts flow freely.

But of coz, thats a wishful thinking isnt it?

I mean, come on. Who would want to whisk me to a beach just coz thats my wish?

It only happens in novels. Its a shame really.

'Something' Is Taking Over My Body! { freed on 1:02 PM

I havent been feeling like this for a loongg time..

My throat has this burning sensation and its difficult to swallow..

My nose is filled with mucus secretion/snot and God knows what else..

My head is pounding away like a constant beat of the tribal drum..

My palate is definitely not working properly - I know this when Sarsi/Root Beer/Strawberry tasted the same to me

I'm feeling like crap.

I think I'm sick. Am I?

Or maybe my brain is playing some kind of a cruel trick to make me stay at home and not go out kai kai-ing like what I've been doing for the past few days.

And going to the doc is the LAST thing I'll do.

Why burn money when you know you'll get better eventually (even if it takes longer time without proper medication) and you can use the money for better purposes - let's say purchase that freaking Aldo shoes!

Panadol is definitely my best friend for the time being.

Merry Christmas { freed on 3:19 PM

Ho-Ho-Hooo..

I've sent Christmas wishes to more than 30 people, draining my credit to a saddening level that almost made me choke.

Something nags at the back of my mind, 'Why bother?'

Why bother sending a simple Merry Christmas wishes with a witty sense of humour to people I hardly know, or people that I seldom talk to OR even to people that couldnt care less whether or not you wished them?

Then it hits me.

You may be closed to me or I may hardly know you nor hardly talking to you, but somehow every single person that I wished to had made an impact somewhere along the way of discovering myself. That made me remember you and made me want to wish you to have a bloody good time.

Yes each and every one of you. :)

Picnic by the Waterfall { freed on 12:21 AM

Having only slept for 1.5 hours the day before, I woke up wishing that I could go back to my La-La Land. But I can't since I was going to Templar's Park with 8 other people (cant FFK later they blacklist me T.T) - and I was already running late.

Reached the car park near college 10 minutes passed 8am and not surprisingly, I was the last one to arrive. Shocking really. *rolled eyes*

I went with Jimmy along with Maynard, Sam and Aaron while WK, Vincent, Hadi and Andy went with Andy's car. Guess who got the privilege to sit infront and hog all the air cond to herself? *flicks hair*

Thanks to some people, we ended up lost - twice.

Having reached there, we then had to walk roughly bout' 20 mins just to get to the waterfall. Thank goodness no leeches decided to stick on me. Not that I'm scared or anything. :P

And when we reached the waterfall, boy was I glad I went along. The place was bee-u-tee-ful. XD
And again, thanks to some people who forgotten to mention we're going to have a dip inside the water, WK and Sam didnt bring extra clothes.

While the guys tried to start the fire, we girls had the first dip inside the cold water. I wasnt planning to get wet from head to toe at first, but oh well. Its hard to resist from dunking your whole head inside the water.

I had tremendous fun with you in Bangsar the other day. :D

From searching through racks and racks of clothes with other XX species in a hot and stuffy bungalow to find a good bargain, to dinner at La Bodega in the open not so fresh air and sharing a Rocky Road cake and Hot Caramel Chocolate at Starbucks..

You know who you are. Ma cheri *wink*

All in all I've spent RM62 on a gorgeous pair of heels and a pair of butterfly ear-rings. No clothes for me though. Couldnt find top that is nice and fits me well.

Lots of good bargains though. Would explore more on the racks of clothes but the stuffy environment was too much for me and Yuvy (whoops just gave away the name of ma cheri lol) to bear so we decided to leave.

Would blog more bout' that night once I receive the pics from Yuvy. *hinthint*

Bread Butter Pudding { freed on 2:20 PM

It feels so good waking up late a day after your exams are over and 17 days of holiday are strecthed out infront of you, waiting to be filled with activities. *hinthint*

Anyway I'll blog bout last Tues.

Yerp it was the day before Financial Maths exams and instead of filling my mind with Annuity, NPV, IRR (you get the idea) I was filling my stomach with delish food instead.

I made Bread Butter Pudding!
See, it was so easy to make that I had ample time to study for the Maths exam the next day. *wink* So I'm gonna post the recipe and step-by-step method on how to make it.

FYI, it is the same recipe I made for Kitchen Prac. class last Friday, so to those of you who didnt bring your own recipe and used mine instead *cough*KeeKeeLala*cough*, here's the recipe for your keepsake for future use. XD

I used an 8 by 8 inch baking dish for this recipe.

Ingredients:

White Bread........250g
Melted butter......60g

Eggs........250g (bout' 4 eggs)
Sugar.......125g
Salt........a pinch
Vanilla Essence........8ml (bout' 1tsp)
Milk........625ml
*
Cinnamon...AN
Nutmeg.....AN

Preparing the dish and bread:

1. Brush some melted butter inside the baking dish.

2. Cut the sides/crusts of the bread and brush generous amount of melted butter on both sides of the bread. Cut the bread into 2 or 4 (to your liking) and place them inside the baking dish.

Preparing the custard:

1. Mix together the eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla til thoroughly combined.

2. Add the milk into the mixture. Pour the mixture over the bread in the baking dish.

3. Cover the baking dish with cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour to let the bread absorbs the mixture.
(this is up to you, if you dont want to refrigerate it also can)

So while I let it refrigerate, I made the Creme Anglais which means English Sauce also known as Vanilla Custard Sauce.

Ingredients:

Egg Yolks.....4 nos
Sugar......80g
Vanilla Essence.....5ml

Milk........330ml

1. Combine the yolks and sugar together. Whip until light and thick.

2. Scald the milk in a boiling water or on direct heat.
(make sure the milk is below simmering - no bubble)

3. Pour the hot milk into egg yolk mixture bit by bit, and then gradually while stirring constantly with the whip.

4. Set the bowl over simmering water.

5. Heat it, stirring constantly, til it thickens. To check if its thick enough/done:

# the sauce should lightly coat the back of the spoon instead of running off it like milk

# when you draw a line with your finger, the line will stay in its place

6. Remove it from the heat, set in a pan of cold water to stop the cooking process. Once its cooled, cover and refrigerate.

Oookay we're done with the sauce, back to the pudding!

1. Preheat the oven to 175 C. Take the dish out from the refrigerator, unwrapped the cling film.

2. Sprinkle some nutmeg and cinnamon on top. (optional)

3. Set the dish in a larger pan containing bout' 1 inch of hot water.
(optional - if your starch content is high, this may not be necessary. i didnt use the water bath since cant find larger pan =.=)

4. Bake bout' 1 hour til it set.

To check if its done, when you poke inside the pudding with a knife, the blade should come out clean.

Wanna see the end result?

Serve it warm or cold with the sauce. Enjoy!

Two Trips To KLCC In A Day { freed on 9:45 PM

I don't know what I'm doing here when I have NOT started studying on my French yet. Guess I need a break from those 3 hours of slavering away on Law. Or maybe, this is just a common excuse not to study. XP

Anyhoo.

Yesterday was a really tiring day and I found out something bout' my mom. Stay with me and you'll know why.

*jeng jeng jeng..wth*

After exams, a bunch of the guys wanted to go to PC fair. While us girls went along just for the ride and kai kai-ing in KLCC. Typical, non?
(and yes i did say i should not go out til exams are over but err its so freaking hard so please dont slap me >.<)

Before we reached KLCC, we made pit-stops in Curve (for lunch) and Kepong (its a waste of time really and such a waste on petrol). But the journey was fun. Frustration and boredom evoke weird acts on people which you wouldnt see on normal situations.

Hint: Weird voices, meowing and unintentional camwhoring session.

Upon arriving at KLCC, us girls(me, Elaine, WK, Mischa and Tasha) separated from the guys and dashed to the shops(duh!). Tried on this black halter top from Eclipse but decided not to buy to avoid from eating only yoghurts for the rest of the week. Which on second thought is not that bad at all..

*snaps back*

I took some shots on biscuit tins that I thought my mom would love since she collects them. Only certain types though, thats why I'd rather take pics first and show her before buying them.

Met with the guys and decided its time to head back. (Noooooo!)

Okay now pay attention.

I reached home around 7 plus and showed my mom those pics. Guess what?

She wanted to go to KLCC right at that moment!
o_O

I actually expected she'll suggest going the next day (today) since it has happened before but..oh well. Guess now I know if she really likes something, she'll want to have it asap.

And yes I, excuse me I mean, we, went to KLCC and reached there around 9.20pm. She bought two tins from Marks and Spencer. And unfortunately, Isetan was closed before she could get her hands on the other tin.

(NOTE: She went back to KLCC this evening with my dad and bought two tins from Isetan)

It can be rewarding when your neighbour is an air stewardess who travels frequently (duh!) and its a bonus if she's the friendly, bubbly and very generous kind of type.

Oh and who buys you souvenir too. Lots of them.

Did I tell you she bought a Coach wristlet for my birthday? I know. Crazy right? But she said its waayy cheaper in the US so..yeah. Lucky me. *grins*

And sometimes she'll buy Victoria Secret stuff, like the Body Silkening Splash(simple term: body spray) which I loveeee and its heart-rending that one of them (Sweet Temptation) is almost gone.

I think thats the one where you guys said it smells like strawberry. Someone said it smells like lychee though. Something wrong with fella's nose. *innocent look*

Anyway, thats why I'm wondering if any of you know where to get VS stuff in Malaysia? Coz I really really want the body spray and I think I'll go berserk once its completely finished. o_O

Geez. I didnt know the XX species nowadays are so ferocious.

I've been going out a LOT lately and my money is going down the drain at an implausible speed its making my heart ache. *clutches heart*

To add salt to the already huge wound, it is the exams week people! Its so weird. I usually have the tendency to go kai kai at the most incredulous time. Someone better stop and slap me left and right if I ever go out a day before exam.

I really cant wait for exams to be over with. Plus, my mom already said the magic word (shopping!) after exams!

Mom: When's ur exams going to end?

Me: Next Wednesday. Why?

Mom: *big big grin* So next week we go shopping k?

Me: *even bigger grin* You mean shopping or shopping shopping?

Mom: Shopping shopping.

I think I'll be in heaven next week.

FYI, there's a difference between just shopping and shopping shopping.

Just put it this way, during shopping I have a limited budget and have to close one eye when I see something I like (as it is usually over the budget) whereas shopping shopping (another word for heaven) is where I shop til I drop.

Or in this case. Til both of us drop.

TOFI { freed on 12:46 PM

I am now declaring that every Saturday is my Workout Day.
(stop laughing or I'll tear you into pieces)

As most of you know, after I stopped skating (due to injury not laziness mind you) I became a sloth. I didnt do any form of exercises at all unless you count those hours spent in a shopping mall as a new term of 'exercise.'

And I'm sure that what most of you did not know is that skaters have big thighs. Its a fact. You can ask other skaters if you're not satisfied. Its kinda frustrating when I have to go pants shopping as what fits at my thigh would be too big for my waist, and what fits at my waist nicely would be too small at my thighs.

Can you feel my frustration now?

I'm sure you've heard how some 'lucky' people tends to eat anything and everything that they want and NOT getting fatter right? And you thought that I'm one of them. *smacks forehead*

Well I kinda agree with you at first, but after reading an article in Cleo, I might not be that lucky afterall. Wanna know why?

It seems that a recent researched showed that people who are thin on the outside( who eats a LOT and never seem to be getting bigger) are fat on the inside. In other words they called it TOFI.

Not so lucky now huh?

So that means the fats I'm collecting are being dispatched to all my vital organs! I'm prone to be obese later in my life!

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!

...

Anyway, thats why I'm declaring Saturdays as my workout day.

My first attempted workout yesterday failed miserably. Last time I could do 60 sit ups in a minute and still breathing afterwards. But yesterday..I could barely do 30 sit ups and I was struggling for air. It was that pathethic. *covers face and run*

Rest assured that most of my attempted workouts after the sit ups have similar results. But I'm not giving up! There's always next time, or in my case, next Saturday.

To tell you the truth, I am curious to see how long I'm going to keep this up before I gave up completely and embraced the fact that I'm lucky and wait til I'm old to see the effect of the accumulated fats in my body to take action.

Romantic Comedy Movies - Two Nights In A Row { freed on 3:18 AM

Its 3.19am.

Maybe I shouldnt have taken shower at 1.30am anymore after this. Waiting for my hair to dry naturally is killing me. I cant use hair dryer as it will be too noisy.

Sighh. Damn ma fan.

Thank goodness my class starts at 3pm tomorrow.

Oh I watched this romantic comedy Chinese movie yesterday night and without failed, I was laughing my ass off. My mom even asked if I'm okay since I was laughing too much. And too loud I think. Whoops.

Why Me, Sweetie?

The story revolves around two main character which is Don and Ding Ding. Despite knowing that Don is a player, Ding Ding allows herself to be roped in, and things actually seem to head somewhere for the two. Then the plot device hits.

When Don seems to have totally fallen in love with Ding Ding, he suddenly turns red and collapses (it was kinda stupid but thats what makes it funny lol). When Ding Ding sees him next, he's back to being a total player, and professes not to know her.

But Ding Ding learns the truth thanks to the intervention of Dr. Chie, Don's longtime pal. Chie tells Ding Ding that Don has a selective memory disorder, which he gained due to the tragic death of a former lover, who ironically looked exactly like Ding Ding.

Chie believes that Ding Ding can somehow help cure Don, and even if he isn't cured, the two can continue their relationship anyway. They use a notebook of Ding Ding facts, temporary tattoos, and many pictures to constantly remind Don of who he's supposed to love.

Conclusion is, the movie was very sweet, funny, touching (the sad scenes) and doesnt make any sense here and there (but who cares?) but is still enjoyable anyway - which is the kind of movies I like to watch. :)

Plus, some of the scenes will make you go 'Awww...' and part of you will ponder if there is such thing in this world.

And the ending is well, uber sweet! (like duh)

Plus, Louis Koo is kinda cute. Nyehehehe.

Ahh, I just love the happy bubbly kind of feeling from watching these kind of movies. They always left me with a smile on my face.
